AcroPak* 500, 1000, and 1500 Filter Capsules, Sterile, Pall* Life Sciences
These 100% integrity-tested filter capsules feature Supor* (hydrophilic polyethersulfone) membranes that increase solution throughput. Housing, vent plug, and filter support are composed of polypropylene and are fusion-welded to eliminate the potential for release of extractables from sealing adhesives. Applications include large volume media preparation and pilot scale manufacturing. May also be used for liquids requiring prefiltration.
Use the 500 series capsules for filtration of up to 50L. Use the 1000 series capsules for filtration of up to 100L. Use the 1500 series capsules for filtration of up to 150L.
AcroPak 500, 1000, or 1500 capsules with Supor 0.8/0.2 or 0.8/0.45 membranes are ideal for larger volume filtration uses. They have a built-in prefilter that provides high throughputs and fast flow rates with serum or biological solutions.
AcroPak 500 and 1000 capsule styles have a polycarbonate filling bell. All AcroPak capsules are sterilized by gamma irradiation. Filters can be autoclaved once prior to use at 121 to 123°C (250 to 253°F).
