Adjustable Tirrill Burners
Noiseless burners provide clear flame from 1.3 to 30.5 cm (0.5-12"). Designed for separate control of flame temperature and height. Base is die-cast and nickel-plated with aluminum mixing tube and threaded aluminum air-control sleeve. Gas intake is accurately controlled by a fine-pitch brass needle valve with internal stuffing box and self-sealing packing. Height: 8.9cm (3.5").
Burner is available complete with a flame stabilizer for use with natural gases (17980-027) and with fittings for use with liquid propane (17980-049). For a broad flat flame for glass bending etc., a brass wing top accessory is available for 17980-027.
Models 17980-027 and 17980-049 are manufactured in compliance with Federal Specification NNN-B-795.
