Basic* 47 and Basic 70 Laboratory Hoods, Labconco*
Basic hoods are ideal for rooms with ceilings below 2.4m (8') and for shallow countertops. The 1.2m (4') model works well as an individual work station. The 1.8m (6') model is spacious enough to accommodate numerous samples or to share work space with another person.
Available with or without a blower. Blower may be mounted in or above the hood, or on the roof. A %num%1%/num%/%den%3%/den%hp motor is included with Basic 47 hoods that have a blower (except 30152-610 and -612, which have a %num%1%/num%/%den%2%/den%hp motor). Basic 70 hoods with blower have a %num%3%/num%/%den%4%/den%hp motor .
Hoods are furnished with a 0.5cm (%num%3%/num%/%den%16%/den%") thick tempered safety glass counterbalanced sash and a 25.4cm (10") diameter duct collar. Interior and exterior are constructed of glacier white, epoxy-coated, 16-gauge steel. Hood includes a removable front panel in glacier white, a removable air foil, two-piece adjustable baffle, and a vapor-proof incandescent light fixture. The right side fixture panel is factory-prepared to accept up to three service fixtures, one duplex electrical receptacle, and a Guardian* air monitor. The right interior side wall is factory-prepared for one wall-mounted cupsink with turret. Hood liner top is factory-prepared for two customer-supplied apparatus rods.
