CentriVap* Centrifugal Concentration System Accessories, Labconco*
For use with all CentriVap centrifugal concentration systems, except DNA system. CentriZap* strobe light enables user to shine a strobe light into the chamber to easily view samples while the rotor is spinning. Samples appear to be standing still. Includes a holster bracket (with mounting hardware) that attaches to the right side of the unit. Glass lid provides additional protection from solvents and corrosives that attack acrylic. Includes mounting hardware. Vacuum controller provides manual control and monitoring of vacuum levels. Analog gauge shows vacuum from 0 to 762mm Hg (0–30" Hg). Three-way valve is polypropylene and has an O.D. of 1.3cm (%num%1%/num%/%den%2%/den%"). Bleed valve bleeds vacuum manually when using cold trap with other laboratory equipment. Vacuum tubing kit includes two 1.3cm (%num%1%/num%/%den%2%/den%") I.D. vacuum tubing pieces, 121.9cm (48") in length, and four tubing clamps. Two-port manifold allows freeze drying of small volume samples in freeze dry flasks, serum bottles, or ampules using a CentriVap system. Glass trap insert protects cold trap reservoir and lid from corrosives. Clear polypropylene canister with mounting bracket attaches to the side of the cold trap. Includes 43.2cm (17") PVC tubing and two clamps. Canister with stand recommended when more than one chemical trap is required. Rotary vane direct drive vacuum pump is two-stage, oil-sealed and sliding-vane with cast aluminum casing. It's displacement capacity at 60Hz is 117L per minute. A 1L bottle of vacuum pump oil and two inlet adapters, 1.3cm (%num%1%/num%/%den%2%/den%") O.D. and 1.9cm (%num%3%/num%/%den%4%/den%") O.D., are provided with the rotary vane vacuum pumps. Diaphragm vacuum pumps are fluoropolymer resin-coated and corrosion-resistant. Vacuum outlet is 1.3cm (%num%1%/num%/%den%2%/den%") O.D. Explosion-proof pump for use with flammable solvents. Hexagonal rotor holds 132 of 1.5–2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes. The 12–17mm rotor holds a maximum of 76 tubes: up to 52 of 12–13mm tubes and up to 24 of 16–17mm tubes. The 12–13mm rotor holds a maximum of 148 tubes: 40 of 1.5–2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes and up to 108 of 12–13mm tubes. The 28mm rotor holds 44 tubes: 32 of 1.5–2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes and 12 of 28mm tubes. Microtiter plate rotor holds 4 standard or 2 deep well plates.
