CM E Compound Microscope, Leica*
The CM E compound microscope is designed to provide maximum image quality for a variety of applications. It features superior, all-glass Leica E2 series optics for brilliant, high-contrast imaging quality; fungus- and mold-resistant coatings; and parfocal and parcentered objectives to minimize refocusing.
The binocular preconfigured system features a viewing body with a 45° inclination and 360° rotation for flexibility and storage. The system includes 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x E2 Achromatic objectives, an Abbe condenser, built-in mechanical stage, 20W tungsten halogen illuminator, and E2 10x eyepieces (one with pointer) with eyeguards. The eyepieces accommodate 21mm reticles for a variety of measuring and counting applications.
The CM E's illumination efficiency provides a lamp life over 20 times longer (2000 hours) than other microscopes. The high-intensity illumination from the 20W tungsten-halogen lamp also does not change color or intensity throughout the lamp's life.
