DryFast* Self-Cleaning Dry Vacuum System*, Welch*
This oil-less, two-stage diaphragm pumping system is ideal as a companion for a rotary evaporator, concentrator, or distillation apparatus. It is resistant to chemical attack, even from the most aggressive vapors. Vacuum system contains fluorinated plastics on all wetted surfaces, including the diaphragm and valves.
Residue accumulation on the diaphragms and valves is reduced by a glass inlet separator that inhibits the ingesting of liquid and particulate contaminates which can impede performance. A gas ballast/vent switch acts to minimize vapor condensation inside the pump, and an automatic self-cleaning purge rids the pump of unwanted residue after every run.
