Fiberglass 30 Laboratory Hoods, Labconco*
Designed for research, educational, and clinical applications requiring small working space and efficient fume removal. Fire- and chemical-resistant, one-piece molded fiberglass interior and pre-set baffle have a flame-spread index less than 25 per ASTM E-84. All models feature a pivoting airfoil that promotes airflow.
Hood exterior is glacier white, epoxy-coated steel. Units feature a vertical-rising, 0.5cm (%num%3%/num%/%den%16%/den%") thick tempered safety glass sash with an epoxy-coated aluminum frame. A 17cm (6%num%11%/num%/%den%16%/den%") I.D. PVC connection is provided on top of the hood for connection to exhaust system. The right side fixture panel is factory prepared to accept up to three service fixtures, one electrical duplex, and one airflow monitor (kits are sold separately).
Base stands are constructed of durable 4.5cm (1%num%3%/num%/%den%4%/den%") tubular, epoxy-coated steel and support loads up to 453.6kg (1000lbs.). Glacier white exterior. ADA-compliant. Hydraulic lift base stands include four powder-coated, die-cast feet with levelers. Manual hydraulic lift models feature front-accessible hand crank. Electric hydraulic lift models include a front-accessible up/down switch and UL listed electrical components.
Service fixture kits include one remotely controlled service fixture with 0.6cm (%num%1%/num%/%den%4%/den%") diameter valve and tubing, color-coded fixture knob, and color-coded hose connector. All tubing is copper and all valves are brass, except for the gas fixture, which has brass tubing, and the deionized/distilled water fixture, which has stainless steel tubing and a nickel-plated stainless steel valve. Duplex electrical receptacle kits include receptacle, wiring, junction box, and receptacle cover plate. A kit is available with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), which protects the user against electric shock. The explosion-proof light fixture kit is for use with hoods equipped with explosion-proof blowers and includes an explosion-proof incandescent light fixture and mounting hardware.
