General Purpose Analog Heated Water Baths, Precision Scientific
Heavy-duty water baths for applications such as molecular biology, tissue culture, enzyme reactions, viral/bacterial analyses, and serology.
Baths feature a one-piece insulated stainless steel chamber. Exteriors have a durable epoxy-polyester coating for corrosion resistance and easy maintenance. Front-mounted analog controls and high-limit thermostat maintain accurate temperatures. The two-chamber bath features independent controls and thermostats for each chamber.
Fast uniform heat transfer is provided by direct water contact with the Incoloy tubular heating elements. A diffuser shelf distributes heat evenly, eliminating hot spots. Temperature range from ambient to 99.9°C, except for Model 180 units, which heat from ambient to 95°C. Uniformity of ±0.2°C at 37°C. Use of gable cover allows maximum temperature. Maximum temperature with chamber uncovered is approximately 65°C.
The 120V models are UL listed and CSA approved. They come with a standard 120V power cord. The 240V models are CE marked and come with a European-style power cord and plug.
Capacities are given for bath filled within 2.54cm (1") of top. Exterior dimensions are given for baths without gable cover.
