Oak Ridge Centrifuge Tubes, Teflon* Resin FEP, NALGENE*
For high-speed centrifugation of aggressive chemicals. Excellent for lipid and phenol extractions, as well as biomolecular applications using nucleic acids, proteins, and more. Resists any acid, base, or solvent. Withstand temperatures from –100 to +150°C. Withstand up to 50,000g in refrigerated centrifuges. Autoclavable and leakproof. Provide storage for expensive or aggressive samples. Before autoclaving, place closure on container without engaging threads.
Meet OSHA Standard 29 Part 1910.1030 for use as protection against bloodborne pathogens.
Note: FEP centrifuge ware must be completely filled and refrigerated for centrifugation. Not to be used at room temperature.
