ORION* 4-Star pH/ISE Meters, Thermo Electron
Dustproof and splashproof meters for doing QA/QC work requiring pH and ionic concentrations. Optional 1- to 5-point calibration for pH and direct ion measurement ensures accuracy even at extremes of concentration. Icon prompts, a simple set-up menu with easy, three-button operation, and SMART STABILITY* and SMART AVERAGING* functions simplify the measurement process for non-technical users. The meters also come with a full complement of GLP-related features. Up to 10 setup parameters and calibrations may be stored and password-protected, enabling multiple users to share one unit. Meters feature automatic or manual pH calibration; automatic buffer recognition of NIST, US, and DIN buffers; manual ISE calibration; point-to-point ISE calibration with high and low concentration range; automatic blank correction; GLP IQ/OQ documentation; self-diagnostics; and 200-point data logging. Data can be downloaded to printer or computer via the RS-232 connection.
Benchtop meters meet IP54 specifications with protection from water and include BNC pH electrode and ISE connectors and a USB interface. Benchtop meters are also CE marked, CSA certified, and UL listed. The handheld meters meet IP67 specifications, allowing the meter to be immersed in water to a depth of 1m for 1 hour without any water incursion. They also feature waterproof BNC pH electrode and ISE connectors, USB outputs, and an extended-life battery for up to 2000 hours of uninterrupted operation. Handheld meters are CE marked.
The optional 21 CFR Part 11 software ensures regulatory compliance and includes system validation, security and audit trails with time and date stamps, archiving, and record retention and recovery.
