Permits use of any pH meter as the readout for BOD measurements. Miniaturized circuits convert electrical output of the O2 sensing element into signal for either an analog or digital type of pH meter. Uses room air for simple standardizing procedure. Electrode incorporates replaceable membrane/electrolyte module, thermocompensator, electronic circuits, and operating controls.
