PuriCare* Procedure Stations, Labconco*
Designed to provide personnel, animal, and environmental protection, PuriCare procedure stations draw room air into the grill located in the airfoil and pass it into a plenum located under the worksurface. This design prevents the escape of particulates inside the enclosure. HEPA-filtered vertical laminar airflow in the work area provides ISO Class 5 (FED-STD-209E Class 100/M3.5) conditions, protecting the animals from environmental- and cross-contamination. After passing through the exhaust HEPA filter and carbon filter, the balance of the air inside the enclosure is discharged to the room, protecting the environment from allergens and odors. Stations feature a 0.6cm ( 1/4") thick fully-closing, tempered safety glass sash; Type 304 stainless steel liner; two metal prefilters; Minihelic II pressure gauge; dished work surface; and ADA-compliant sash position alarm. Also included are a single switch fluorescent light and two electrical duplex receptacles. Models with service fixture(s) also include a UV lamp for secondary decontamination. Interlocked switch allows UV light to operate only when fluorescent light and blower are off and sash is completely closed. Finish is durable glacier white and slate gray epoxy-coated, 18-gauge steel exterior.
The 115V models are ETL listed; 230V models are CE marked.
