Puritan* Cotton-Tipped Applicators, Puritan Medical
These swabs are ideal for use in bacteriology labs for inoculating broth and plated media, and obtaining culture specimens. They are also useful for cleaning delicate laboratory instruments.
Applicators with adhesive incorporate a nonsterile cotton tip secured by adhesive to the wooden handle. Applicators are also available without adhesive, for use where contamination of critical surfaces is a concern. Applicators are autoclavable.
