Hood interior is completely molded, one-piece, fire-retarding fiberglass. Hood exterior is tough, scratch-resistant, epoxy-coated steel. Hood has two vapor-proof fluorescent lights. Standard features include a clear, counterbalanced, vertical-rising sash; air foil; light and blower switches; and one 115V electrical duplex. Supplied with two service fixtures; one with copper tubing for cold water, and one with brass for gas. Components for converting each fixture for use with either air or vacuum are provided. The 2.4m (8') model has four fluorescent lights and two sashes. Hood has automatic air by-pass system and glacier white body. Delivered fully assembled. For 115V, 60Hz.
The sash stop restricts how far a vertical-rising sash may be opened. Variable air volume system can be achieved when the sash stop kit is used in conjunction with a Guardian* airflow monitor kit (see 14222-630 series).
