Refrigerated and Diurnal Incubators, Caron
Large-capacity, full temperature range refrigerated (RI) and diurnal (DI) incubators are designed for more demanding applications than the typical economy models. Incubators have a microprocessor-based PID temperature controller. Environmentally-friendly HFC refrigerant and CFC-free insulation are utilized.
LED display of temperature during operation shows both process and set point values. Audible and visual temperature alarms alert user of any temperature deviation from active set point, or that the high limit has been exceeded. In the event of a power failure, nonvolatile memory allows chamber to return to original set point when power is restored.
Diurnal incubator (DI) models include fluorescent lights. Benchtop model 6010DI includes four 20W fluorescent lights, two per shelf on two shelves. Floor model 6030DI includes eight 20W fluorescent lights, two per shelf on four shelves. Both include a cycle timer for day/night temperature settings.
Cabinets feature a stainless steel interior, one 5.1cm (2") access port, two fresh air vents, and horizontal airflow. Exterior has enamel coating for chemical, water, and abrasion resistance. The 6010 models have a key lockable interior glass door, and a powder-coat exterior finish. The 6030 models have an insulated, solid door.
