Reusable Plastic Animal Cages, NALGENE*
Autoclavable cage bodies are available in clear standard polycarbonate, clear polycarbonate with grommet (for access to sipper tube on rack), clear polycarbonate with cut-away bottoms (for removing waste products), high-temperature clear polysulfone (for repeated autoclaving and better chemical resistance), and ULTEM (for maintaining superior strength and transparency after 1000 hours of autoclaving at 134°C (273°F)). Cage bodies are designed with corner lugs (side-arms) for stackable storage without scratching or jamming. Disposable polystyrene bodies are available in selected sizes; they are not autoclavable.
