Sonic Sifter Separator, Advantech
Versatile sieving instrument is designed for fast, accurate particle separations. Ideal for ultra-fine particle separation by the dry sieve method over a range of 5µm to 5.66mm. Typical materials for analysis include plastics, mineral products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, seeds, forestry products, fertilizers, foods, powdered metals, detergents, sugar and cement.
Accommodates up to 6 U.S. standard sieves or 3 precision sieves (sold separately). Sieving action can be varied for different densities and textures of materials. Utilizes two sieving motions: a vertical oscillating column of air (which prevents particle attrition and screen wear), and a repetitive mechanical pulse (which helps reduce sieve binding and rearranges clustered particles formed by agglomeration).
Virtually noiseless in operation with a maximum of about 70db at 6 feet. May be timed automatically to ensure repeatable results. Horizontal pulse accessory (57333-750) produces a tapping action to help obtain repeatable test results.
U.S. standard sieves have stainless steel mesh with a clear acrylic frame. Dimensions: 8.9O.D.x7.6I.D.x1.6H cm (3%num%1%/num%/%den%2%/den%x3x%num%5%/num%/%den%8%/den%"). All sieves meet current sieve specifications of ASTM and ISO.
