PVDF (polyvinylidene difluoride) is a hydrophilic, solvent-resistant membrane with low levels of UV absorbing extractables. Low nonspecific binding. Use for HPLC sample filtration and general biological filtration. PVDF is also a low protein binding membrane. The 4mm filters can be used for volumes less than 2mL. The 0.2µm pore size filter can be used for “cold” sterilization.
