Thermowell* GOLD PCR† Tubes, Corning*
Manufactured from ultra-pure, medical grade polypropylene suitable for RT-PCR. The molding process is free from lubricants, dyes, and heavy metals or fillers. Tubes are designed with longer cap flanges and sealed with a full-length insertion cap to safeguard against evaporation and to prevent accidental cap opening during thermal cycling. Ultra-thin walls of uniform thickness accelerate heat transfer for shorter cycle times and higher product yields.
Tubes are available with flat caps for easy piercing and marking or domed caps for efficient heat transfer. Tubes are 100% tested for well integrity and certified DNase- and RNase-free and endotoxin-safe on a lot-by-lot basis.
