VWR* Immersion Circulators
Clamp these immersion circulators onto any container or rod-type lab stand to set up a highly accurate, constant temperature circulating system. Immersion circulators may be used with VWR open baths for operation over a broad temperature range. Excellent for creating your own bath to temper samples of all kinds, prepare media, incubate cultures, or thaw specimens. Both units have a powerful two-speed pump for 9 or 15L/min. Furnished with either a 1100W/60Hz or 1600W/50Hz heater for quick heat-up. Immersion depth for all units is 7.6–17.8cm (3–7"). Adjustable flow director accepts 12.7mm (%num%1%/num%/%den%2%/den%") I.D. tubing for external circulation to closed loop system. Both models feature low-liquid cutoff and adjustable over-temperature cutoff. These immersion circulators occupy 31.1Lx11.7Hx14.6Wcm (12%num%1%/num%/%den%4%/den%x4%num%5%/num%/%den%8%/den%x5%num%3%/num%/%den%4%/den%") of the inside dimension of a tank. All wetted parts are stainless steel. Model 1122S features a digital controller, bright LED readout in °C or °F, and PID control. The model also allows for rapid setpoint change with easy-to-set temperatures using a rotary encoder or three user-set preset temperatures. Model 1112A provides proportional temperature control, redundant safety backup, and a thermometer for temperature readout. The 120V models are CSA certified. The 240V models are CE approved. The cooling coil can reduce minimum operating temperature when connected to a water source. The high-temperature tubing is 0.9m (3') of flexible fluoropolymer resin-lined, stainless steel overbraid tubing with 6.4mm (%num%1%/num%/%den%4%/den%") NPT quick connects on both ends. For use at elevated temperatures. Maximum temperature: 300°C (572°F). The general-purpose clear bath algicide is compatible with stainless steel and helps keep water baths clean, odor-free, and resistant to black algae. One 237mL (8oz.) bottle treats approximately 757L (200gal.). Supplied in a plastic dispenser bottle. Use the concentrated bath cleaner for cleaning and removing rust and minerals deposits from stainless steel and plastic baths. Bath cleaner comes in 473mL (16oz.) bottle; 29.6mL (1oz.) treats approximately 7.6L (2gal.). The heat transfer fluids provide superior thermal stability for high or low temperatures. The 510 fluid has a temperature range of 50 to 150°C (122 to 302°F), a –70°C (–94°F) freezing point, and a viscosity (in centistokes) of 50 at 25°C. The 710 fluid has a temperature range of 150 to 250°C (302 to 482°F), a –22°C (–7.6°F) freezing point, and a viscosity (in centistokes) of 50 at 25°C. Note: Heat transfer fluids are incompatible with Buna or natural rubber.
