VWR* Infrared Digital Thermometer
Simply point the sensor/probe to read a temperature. The 3.5cm (1 3/8") display reads either °C or °F. Recall highest, lowest, and average readings at the touch of a button. A data hold button freezes the display to capture readings. Sampling rate is once per second. Serial RS-232 output allows thermometer to be connected to a computer or data logger (sold separately) for monitoring and storing results.
Field of view is 7:1. Probe has an emissivity adjustment with a range of 0.1 to 0.95, allowing all types of material to be read. Sensor wavelength is 6 to 12 microns.
The data acquisition system accessory captures, displays, and stores readings on any IBM* compatible PC. Information can be imported into databases. Comes complete with 3 1/2" diskette and 91.4cm (36") serial cable with D9F plug.
A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
