VWR* Inoculating Turntables
VWR hand-operated inoculating turntables produce almost concentric circles of bacterial colonies evenly distributed across petri dishes. Cast iron turntables are coated with gray baked acrylic enamel.
The small inoculating turntable 50809-022 accommodates 100mm petri dishes. This 76.2mm (3") high turntable has a tripod base to bring work to approximately eye level. The center disk is covered with nonskid rubber.
The large inoculating turntable 50809-020 accommodates 100mm or 150mm petri dishes. This 34.9mm (1 3/8") high turntable is ideal for steadying forearm on the work surface while plating. It contains two circular sections: a top section that has a raised gripper lip, and a recessed center disk that is covered with nonskid rubber.
