VWR Signature* Heated Circulators
For precise, stable, temperature control. Ideal for circulating to external systems or for tempering samples in the built-in chamber. Powerful 1100W (120V) or 2200W (240V) heaters heat up quickly and add stability when process or ambient conditions change rapidly. Both the programmable and digital controllers feature a backlit full-graphics display with set point and actual temperatures displayed simultaneously. A powerful variable-speed pressure/suction pump and RS-232 interface are standard. The programmable controller features a remote temperature probe capability as well as a full range of software for programming and data logging. The single knob encoder permits intuitive, simplified controller set-up and operation. All models feature low-liquid and adjustable over-temperature safety cutoffs. Both controllers provide readouts in °C, °F, or user defined. The temperature range for 6L (1.6gal.) circulators is 5° above ambient to 200°C. The 13L (3.4gal.) and 28L (7.4gal.) circulators have a temperature range of 5° above ambient to 150°C. The 120V models are CSA certified. The 240V models are CE approved. The cooling coil can reduce minimum operating temperature when connected to a water source. High-temperature tubing is 0.9m (3') of flexible fluoropolymer resin-lined, stainless steel overbraid tubing with 6.4mm (%num%1%/num%/%den%4%/den%") NPT quick connects on both ends. For use at elevated temperatures. Maximum temperature: 300°C (572°F). The general-purpose clear bath algicide is compatible with stainless steel and helps keep water baths clean, odor-free, and resistant to black algae. One 237mL (8oz.) bottle treats approximately 757L (200gal.). Supplied in a plastic dispenser bottle. Use the concentrated bath cleaner for cleaning and removing rust and minerals deposits from stainless steel and plastic baths. Bath cleaner comes in 473mL (16oz.) bottle; 29.6mL (1oz.) treats approximately 7.6L (2gal.). The heat transfer fluids provide superior thermal stability for high or low temperatures. The 510 fluid has a temperature range of 50 to 150°C (122 to 302°F), a –70°C (–94°F) freezing point, and a viscosity (in centistokes) of 50 at 25°C. The 710 fluid has a temperature range of 150 to 250°C (302 to 482°F), a –22°C (–7.6°F) freezing point, and a viscosity (in centistokes) of 500 at 25°C. Note: Heat transfer fluids are incompatible with Buna or natural rubber.
