VWR cleanroom ovens have an all-heliarc welded, Type 304 stainless steel chamber, rapid heat recovery, and sealed membrane touchpad control panel to protect controllers. Two separate LED displays for time and temperature show set-point or up-to-the-second process information. A Watlow® Proportional Integral Differential controller provides 24-step ramp and soak, 0.1°C control, and many levels of operator access.

Other features include two stainless steel shelves; removable, adjustable 7.6cm (3") air intake and exhaust ducts; a nitrogen inlet port for purging to prevent contamination; 8.9cm (3¹/₂") high-temperature display; wraparound insulation; a high-temperature silicone rubber door seal; and gasketed seams. Model 1602 has a powder-coated epoxy exterior. Model 1601 has a stainless steel exterior and is equipped with a 95%, 0.3µm HEPA filter, for ISO Class 5 (FED-STD-209E Class 100/M3.5) air in the chamber.

Unfiltered power exhaust accessory (52202-530) is available for fast drying, to exhaust fumes from the lab, or to pull moisture out of high-moisture samples. Can be operated at the end of program for fast cool down, or during all or part of program. If attached, power exhaust can be activated by the controller.
