VWR ovens are designed to provide optimal temperature uniformity and recovery through horizontal one-pass air flow without temperature over-shoot. True horizontal air flow is the only pattern that works well when the oven shelves are loaded. Ovens provide fast and uniform drying, curing and baking.

Ovens feature a turbo blower and a heavy-duty motor. Air is directed into the air duct system on the right and flows through horizontal slots across the shelves and over samples.

The 7.6cm (3") exhaust port with adjustable damper provides ability to alter drying, curing, or baking time by allowing more or less air to circulate through the oven. Exhaust port is located on the top of the oven for easy access and efficient venting.

The main controller will retain temperature and time set-point in the event that power is lost to the unit. Built-in over-temperature protection is independent from the main controller, and will control temperature overshoot in the unlikely event that the main controller malfunctions. The easy-to-read LED displays temperature on the control panel. The oven timer can be turned on and off per user application, and digital timer has a range of 99 hours or 59 minutes.

Oven interiors are stainless steel. Two punched stainless steel shelves are supplied, adjustable in 1.3cm (¹/₂") increments. The door latch and hinges are also user-adjustable to ensure a tight seal throughout the life of the oven. Wrap-around seamless insulation provides excellent heat retention and uniformity. Ovens have a highly resistant, environmentally-safe, durable powder-coat paint finish.

Unfiltered power exhaust accessory (52201-344) is available for fast drying, to exhaust fumes from the lab, or to pull moisture out of high-temperature samples. Can be operated at the end of program for fast cool down, or during all or part of program. If attached, power exhaust can be activated by the controller.

Temperature Uniformity: ±0.9°C @ 150°C (302°F)

Recovery: 6 minutes @ 150°C
