VWR* Talking Timer
Innovative timer talks, times up, counts down and tells time-of-day with traceable precision.
Unique “thru-zero” feature allows alarming, counting up and counting down from 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds. Large, 1.3cm ( 1/2") high display and LCD digits continuously show time remaining. During countdown, voice reporting frequency is every hour until the last hour is reached, then every 10 minutes until 1 minute is reached, then every 10 seconds until 10 seconds is reached, then every second. Timer also announces elapsed time since alarming. A time-out mode stops the timer for “off” periods for both up and down timing. In clock mode, timer announces time-of-day.
Magnetic backing allows placement of timer on lab refrigerators or incubators. Stand timer on a lab bench using flip-open easel, or clip to a clipboard using the spring fastener. Resolution: 1 second. Accuracy: 0.01%. Dimensions: 6.4Wx8.3Hx1.3Dcm (2 1/2x3 1/4x 1/2").
A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
